Lefty commented on the previous Alizee Google Trends post that I should show the results of an Alizée, to include the accent. So here are the results of the accent added to Google Trends.
The proper spelling gives us a very French perspective...as it should.
I guess it shows us that the world generally does not use the accent.
Or you think it is telling us...

Woo! Canada on the Regions board at #7! And the good ol' US of A doesn't even place! What. Up. ;)
(Sorry, just a little bit of the Canadian inferiority complex at work there. We're always thrilled to beat y'all at something. Why do you think we keep bringing up the War of 1812?)
Anyway, I find it really interesting that including the accent lands English on the Languages board at #9. We're actually more likely to use it? That surprises me.
