"-(negative) 1" makes me think it happened yesterday? Or maybe I'm nitpicking.
Jo could just be referring to his photo shoot but if he is going to tease me I might as well have some fun with it.
As far as the negative...
Back when we used to watch space mission lift offs...they would refer to the time before a liftoff as negative. For example T minus 60 seconds...
