Before I change the subject how about the US National Football League policy on social networking. Nothing 90 minutes before and after or during games. One aspect of that (and there are many) is that it is protecting the press. We might just by pass the press if we can go straight to the players. Yes there are other reasons why players are not to tweet during this time...I know, but this is one aspect of it.
Twitter is having an impact. It is amazing to me how many people do not get it. I just had an idea!...oh come on Alizée don't make that face I have a good idea once in a while. Don't you think it would be cool if during a concert Alizée would pull out her Iphone and tweet us a quick hello from the concert? All smart phone concert goers would scramble to read it. Non attendees would get to be involved. Take a concert pic herself and post it in between songs...It's not that bad of an idea, it's fun, it's techie, it's different. Someone is going to do it if they have not already.
So, Jive Epic was tweeting some Itune stuff and made me curious with Alizée and Itunes.
Here are some different country results via Itunes, interesting.
Click on each box to view it better, then your back button to get back to the article and look at another.
France

Deutschland (per Itunes)

US

UK

Mexico

So what do we think...US has no 'new' songs. UK no Moi...Lolita - what?. France has Les Enfoires songs being very popular. Mexico looks like Tout Alizée was a success and did what it was supposed to do. MJ and Firfty-Sixty videos right up there. Deutschland Moi...Lolita a big lead over others.
Over all...combining results J'en ai Marre may be ahead of Moi...Lolita.
Here's a quick look at the breakdown for Canada. The top five shake out more or less the same, but it changes up quite a bit after that--"Hey! Amigo!" doesn't even make the top 10 for us, for example...and is actually being beaten by "Abracadabra". (What, really?)
ReplyDeleteNotice that the Alizée America Podcast comes in at number 22. Not bad, huh?
