Alizée - what is that buzz
Can you hear it?
It is a kind of buzzing sound....shhhh...listen...there it is again...it's coming from my computer...it's...it's...a buzz on the net!!!
From Closer
Prompt Translator version:
"Least that it is possible to say, it is because the singer Alizée could always encircle herself. There was Mylène Farmer first at the beginning, of course, but fast, the pretty ingenue stole her own wings, paying the luxury even to collaborate with Daniel Darc, Oxmo Puccino or else Bertrand Burgalat on her album " Psychédélices " (taken out in 2007).
Today, Alizée always aspires to more freedom and prepares studiously the big return with the gifted rapper Teki Latex, but also with Château-Marmont (a group tarbais who even succeeded in making capsize the Parisian dance floor).
Its fourth album still did not go out, but a thing is sure, it already creates the buzz on the net. Alizée, a girl in the air of time …"
A buzz on the net!!!
Alright! Who is making that buzzing sound?

Alizée - Tekilatex
tekilatex - teki latex - ttc
The name keeps coming up...are you pro-acting your expectations?
Wikipedia: Teki Latex (born 1978 as Julien Pradeyrol in Paris, France) is a Paris-based electronica, dance and hip-hop artist, working both independently and as part of the French hip-hop act TTC.
I think this is a very cool video...forward thinking...an 'army' of media assistants...
Well Tekilatex army, we will see if you find this mention in Alizee Nation.
tekilatex in barcelona
This could prove to be very interesting...

Alizée, how did we do?
I was thinking back on the "Give us the tools" posts from July...yeah that long ago. That led me to an August 1, 2009 post of 'Bottom up Evangelism'
In that post I stated:
"Just give us, the online masses, something to organize around.
It starts with one...then another...then another, it does not even have to pretty or slick, it just needs to start."
Well I think that is pretty much what happened.
You, Alizée, started something. You changed your official web site.
Lady Cameron discovered your hidden egg.
3 videos were discovered...
It took off from there, one person told another told another...
You have Google Analytics set up on the official site. I would love to see the results of that at this point in time, ALL caused by bottom up evangelism...by "us".
There was no press release, no statements, you only tweeted about it 2 days ago...it was ALL "us", a nation of Alizée fans.
With no formal plans or structure to follow, no announcements or directions to follow, no banners to post, just a tiny morsel to organize around...how did we do???
Thank you for helping us, help you.

Alizée - slow Spanish song
From the website Kiff'Attitude we are told to expect a slow Spanish song.
English translation:
The fourth disc of the former protected Mylene Farmer, who released a few months, will have given the team she works with a sound more electro than its predecessors.
On this disc concept, dedicated to the life of Edie Sedgwick (American model who was the muse of Andy Warhol), the singer has been called to the oldest member of the crew but also the inclusive electro-pop Parisian Castle -Marmont.
A slow Spanish would also be included.

Two years after the album "Psychédélices" which allowed the singer to know an incredible success in Mexico, Alizée is currently working on his fourth album for release is announced in the coming months.
For her return, the singer has completely changed teams and was surrounded by big names of the electro scene. Working with rapper electro Teki Latex, Alizée is conducting its hard with the electro-pop Parisian Chateau Marmont. This fourth album is a concept disc devoted to the life of Edie Sedgwick, an American model who was the muse of Andy Warhol. The album should also contain a slow Spanish, to delight his fans in Latin America.
The buzz around this comeback already organized on the Internet where a website disseminating teasers novel has been online (see website).

Hmmm, Tekitek...myspace and Twitter...the artwork looks kind of familiar don't you think.
Curiouser and curiouser...

Alizée - a new hook
Hook definition (dictionary.com):
Anything that catches; snare; trap
Something that attracts attention or serves as an enticement: The product is good but we need a sales hook to get people to buy it.
I shared Alizée on a different level today. To someone that does web design....
He know's I do this Alizee Nation blog and of course he thinks it's a bit odd.
But today...explained only two appearances all year. No pics at discos or anything like that. But now, on the verge of a new album.
Showed him the official web site...just the drawing. Then showed the source page...then showed him the "egg", then to the teaser page, uneenfantdusiecle, with now 6 teasers...
What do you think of that?
That's pretty cool.
No shake, no shimmy, no sexy, but a "that's pretty cool" via techie stuff...
Way to go Alizée

Who say's I can't have fun
Who say's I can't have fun with the posts?
OK, who keeps clicking on the Magibon video? You do know she is not saying anything.
You don't have to watch it 5 times to realize that.
Hang around and we will help keep things fun. Don't put conditions on your Alizée fandom. I will remain a fan if she does this or does that. That just does not work with this one. Hang around, relax while we wait.
So
Who say's.......

Alizée 2010
Looks like the new album is going to miss the Christmas season. Whether or not you partake in not important, it still is a good time to sell a new album.
What about January....would you release the new single before Les Enfoires and the album after Les Enfoires? Is that a distraction?
It would be cool to do Coachella Festival 2010 in April. Yeah I know, pimping it for the third year in a row now.
I took notice Nolween Leroy is releasing a new album right now and a new single is out right now. Does a fellow artist releasing a new album cause a conflict?
Are there delays...conflicts...or is going exactly to plan?

Alizée - Whale Watching
Alright, alright, alright...
On a previous post Ruroshen added the comments:
"Have you seen the quote attributed to Jeremy that says he isn't aware of a November release for...well, anything? And that the album will be 'worth the wait'?"
LOL, Ruro doing virtual CPR on Alizee Nation. Don't even think about mouth to mouth...
So let's do this...
Yes, I am aware. By now most are aware of it so you can't be stopping by here to find that morsel of information one more time. But, but, but...what about an opinion? OK, since you asked.
I looked in my little book of comments and I was fresh out for comments on yet another release date. What do you want me to say? This is what I refer to as whale watching. Over on the right side of the boat...now on the left side...now back on the right side...as we all run back and forth across the deck of the boat trying to catch a glimpse. Similarly, new album in 2009, single in November, no September, no 3rd week of September, no October, no back to November, wait not November, 2010....
I am not angry or upset. I am a big fan of Alizée, which of course you all know. I am sure I will love it when it comes out, no doubt in my mind. I just do not do whale watching very well, some might even call it the little boy that cried wolf. I guess I didn't come running this time. It's not like it was the actual song or anything, just more words.
I want to sit back and say "you win". We don't have a clue, you did it! What you won I have no idea.
But wait...I do know what you won, you won your personal life, your family life...
Obviously a decision was made and that included the decision to not even correct all the false rumors.
But wait a second you say, if Alizée wants to be..............
STOP
Alizée is what she wants to be!
That is key to your sanity, say it again.
Alizée is what she wants to be.
At this moment anyway.
What about Jeremy and his comments? Are the comments teasing us or telling us facts or....
Maybe if I get my Institubes secret decoder ring I will be able to tell you.
I absolutely loved all the fun with the website and such but this...yeah yeah just another date.
So yeah, I saw the comments and that's what I have to say about that, and here you go, another post to have reprinted under someone Else's name.
beep, beep, beep, beep...there's a heartbeat

Alizée - Modus Operandi
Modus Operandi
The term is used in English to describe someone's habits or manner of working, the method of operating or functioning. A Latin phrase, approximately translated as "method of operating". (wikipedia)
Will a new song/album/anything be early, on time or late?
Remember the Einstein post? Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Alizée - Yahoo Music France

Yahoo Music France has now posted an article.
Google translation
Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 9:48 - The Lolita has grown. Alizée, who is preparing her 4th album, collaborating with the group electro-pop-Paris Chateau Marmont. If that name means nothing to you, know that Chateau Marmont is a well known quartet of nights Connects Capital, who has remixed artists over the hype of the moment (Ladyhawke, Midnight Juggernauts, Peter, Bjorn & John), before leaving his 1st EP entitled Solar Apex. Alizee showing teasers of the studio with her new friends have been online a few days on his new official website uneenfantdusiecle.com (press F5 to see the various teasers). After being emancipated from her godmother Mylène Farmer, Alizée had entrusted the writing of his latest album Psychédélices (2007) to his companion Jeremy Chatelain, Jean Fauque and Oxmo Puccino. Today, the singer seems to want to speak to an audience more pointed. Her new single should be unveiled later in the month of November. The album is expected in early 2010. More info on Chateau Marmont
So...do you think the Charts in France and the Yahoo Music France 'publicity' came from whomever is in charge of publicity or...from the above tweets...or they were just following her? Or let us put it this way, which of the three is probably the least likely for the reason of the articles. Yes...I think so too.

Alizée - more speculations
Why don't we start here, Chateau Marmont MySpace.
The Band

Does anyone think anything or anyone looks familiar?
Now let us take a look around their site...check out all these...charcoal type sketches that are on their MySpace.
hmmmm, that style, that look....sure looks familiar...
So, who did this artwork?
From their website, can you see it...at the bottom it says "Solar Apex EP (Artwork by House of Kids)"
'House of Kids' ??? where have we heard that before???
Oh yeah
Alizée follows 'goodbyedarkness' on Twitter which lists the name and location as "House Of Kids - Paris"
Here 'goodbydarkness' teases us with an unreferenced tease
Check out 'House Of Kids' Tumblr account
You will see lots of sketches...
So where does that leave us, well no where really, just speculations of Chateau Marmont as people of interest in the mysterious video and another artist of interest, House Of Kids, as the possible sketch artist.
Or, someone could just tell us, but what fun would that be.

Mourning Sun
Guest Post by Lady Cameron XIII
Now I remember why I see what I see in those images. I have attached the album cover for "Mourning Sun" by Fields of the Nephilim (yes, it appears my opinions are coloured by gothic rock/metal influences lol).
Anyway, compare the visage on that cover (which is that of Carl McCoy--vocalist/sole permanent member of FOTN--btw) with the two of Alizée. If I understand the cover correctly, that is supposed to be a death mask... /his death mask/.
Oh, and here's one of FOTN's latest, a live version of "Shroud/Straight Into the Light" from a show in Greece some time ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUo4duIHglA
