What a fun festival coming up in Los Angeles.
The OohlaLA Festival will run September 23,24 and 25th.
There are two things that are very interesting things with this event.
First: The sponsors.
Consulate General of France in Los Angeles
Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the US
CulturesFrance
France Los Angeles Exchange (FLAX)
La Sacem
French Music Export Office
Le Bureau Export
KCRW (89.9. FM and KCRW.com)
TV5 Monde (US)
Les Inrockuptibles
Second: The Henry Fonda Theater
Maximum size is 1300.
Yelle played there November 2008
What a great place and size.
What a wonderful way for promoting France, French Culture and the French Language in America. So grateful for the artist who have agreed to appear for this cause.
Wait a second!!!!! I think I once read a quote from someone promoting that point. Let me check....
Oh yeah, here it is!
