Alizée Facebook Twitter

I was trying to reorganize links, do a little house keeping and it got me to thinking...

The website, the store, the blog... it's all there and in place to be utilized when needed.

During some of these long stretches it really comes down to Twitter and Facebook. Or is that Twitter vs Facebook?

Alizée favors Facebook. It's more private, more of a posting, postings supported by pictures that can be seen. She can also enjoy the fun of posting with friends without being thrown out in public. It serves Alizée well.

Twitter is more conversational driven. Your tweet can be reposted, it is more of a conversation, like a public instant messenger. You can link to a pic but it's not "showing" with your tweet.

It's easy to see the conversation in Twitter, if you follow them it's right there in your timeline. Facebook, not so easy. There might have been a conversation under some a post that you may not see.

Twitter allows us to tweet to @mellealizee, it could be about anything. Facebook has to be a comment under a post, so it generally is regarding the post.

So chatter favors Twitter. Great for fans.
A pic and a post serves well under Facebook. Works for Alizée, organizations that don't want a conversation but do want to post information and for the folks that like to continually post pics of themselves.

One of the keys to Alizée is looking for the subtle changes she allows us to see via Facebook... that is our "manna" it allows us to survive. It is not exactly 40 years in the desert but sometimes it seems like it.

Nothing earth shattering, just me talking...
