The Auction

The auction started life with Alizée announcing it on Facebook and that it would take place on Facebook. It did indeed start out life on Facebook but then took it's natural course and migrated to ebay. I was wondering how an auction on Facebook was going to work, I kept my mouth quite not wanting to reveal exactly how ignorant I was.

The auction went on during the week raising a nice donation. I woke up Saturday morning anxious to see the results and read all the tweets... and no one had anything to say??? Alizée, the major players...everyone just quitely walked away with their hands in their pockets and no exit strategy.

That was curious.

Let's say she does it... The Voice

There will be exposure. More photos for us :) we have to like that.
It could be a chance to ignite the French audience again.
It could lead to more opportunities.

Of course Alizée you will have to be entertaining in this role. It's not like your Tumblr and Twitter accounts Alizée. You will have to talk and entertain the public on a regular basis. You don't get to not say anything for 6 months. I bet The Voice would even like you to twitter more about the show... if you do it. That's not a big "uh oh" for you is it?

There can be a lot of upside, especially in France.

Down side... too reserved and private and ... the audience is not entertained. Of course just seeing you is entertaining enough for me.

Next... for you the audience, if she does The Voice...
What will this mean for the 2012 album?

A) This is part of the publicity for it and an incentive to get it out.
B) Has nothing to do with the new album and will have no affect
C) She will have no time for the new album and it will be pushed back to 2013

Remember how long UEDS took... based on that time table if it started today it would be lucky to be out in 2012, and now there may be a TV show to do. Of course who is to say it has not already been started... yes, who is to say? Can those questions be avoided on The Voice?
