Frankly, I have no idea...
It all started with a comment from WT.
It would show up on my RSS feed but not live time on the blog.
After a few days it showed up.
About that time I was hit with some spam comments. Now I let comments open for anyone and without approval. You do have to confirm the squiggly letters.
I deleted the spam comments...
Since that time it has been not cooperating with me.
All the settings look good to go...so I changed it so the comment must be approved by me...and there you go it appears that change made it work.
I hope and I hope that answers everyones questions...no I was not doing it on purpose.

Quoting stats from the article...
"Of the 97,751 albums released in 2009, only 12 of them sold more than one million units last year"
"Only 2,050 of 2009’s New Albums Sold Over 5,000 Units"
"Albums’ Second-Week Fade Are Getting Bigger"
"These factors combine to create a retail environment in which it is easier to get core fans’ attention but difficult to market beyond those core fans"
If this type of thing interests you then it is a great read. I know we all sit around and become record producers in our spare time deciding what Alizee should do or should be doing... read this article. It's tough out there. The music distribution industry is changing and changing so fast that what marketing strategy that worked 9 months ago is already obsolete.
So... it's easy to get core fans attention...hmmmm, I don't want to be easy...Alizée will you still respect me in the morning?

Alizée's aspirations
I was listening to an interview of Katy Perry, she said...after a short break it was time to be a pop star again.
Pop Star...that's it isn't it. Nothing at all wrong with it if that is what you strive to be.
Then others say they don't want to be pop stars

"Miley Cyrus can't believe she's making mainstream music for a living -- because she listens to "zero pop music."
The "Hannah Montana" star has strong country roots through her "Achy Breaky Heart" hit maker dad, Billy Ray, and despite releasing three pop-orientated records to date, the star is not a fan of the genre.
And Cyrus insists she would have branded herself a "sellout" if she had known the direction her career would take when she was younger.
She tells Billboard magazine, "I listen to zero pop music, which is really weird for someone who makes pop music. My 13-year-old self would have beaten up my 17-year-old self because she would be like, 'You're a sellout!'"
However, the singer refuses to believe her songs are as "super shallow" as her pop contemporaries.
She adds, "But that's not what it is. It's not dance music that's just about, 'Ooh, I'm in the club and everyone's looking at me'. It means something. I'm not just sitting here trying to sell glitz and glamour ... because no one lives that life. A lot of pop songs are super shallow, but this music isn't."
Alizée is now doing the same type of music that she enjoys listening to. From the RFI Musique interview..."Today, I listen to my latest album on my iPod, in my car. It’s the first time I’ve done that in the ten years of my career"
But it's not easy..."Une enfant du siècle is still a pop album. The Alizée “brand” is popular and I don’t want to lose that. I found it more interesting to blend the two worlds, without having to change my voice. I wanted to break down that silly idea of the mainstream on one side and the elite trendy stuff on the other"
You have to admire Alizée's aspirations.

France...of course, this is just a natural.
Latin America...Mexico...no country deserves it more. They are rabid Alizée fans.
Now that leads us to Shanghai. I really don't want to over analyze it, I am just glad for it. What I will say is I think it will be difficult to get any type of media coverage, even phone video youtubes out of Shanghai.
Will any of the "Team Alizée" be involved? Will Chateau Marmont be touring too? How big the concerts or how small...a lot to look forward to.
