No, I am not referring to the the wait for an Alizee appearance. I am referring to the snow in Corsica.
Reading the Ski and Snowboard News at PisteHors.com they make this note: Already 2008/9 has been dubbed “The Winter without end” with the “best snow for 30 years”.
also...Corsica had the best snowfall since the start of records 30 years ago with well above average depths at 1500m. There was over 400cm of cover higher in the mountains. A boost to the island’s tiny ski resorts and a delight for backcountry enthusiasts.
On a separate Ski and Snowboard News post the headlines read "Corsica shatters snow records"
