Part of the delay, in distributing a new CD, is probably associated with policing illegal internet distribution of the music. New music may be available, for a few days, on an internet site until it gets removed. It must take a team of people working 24/7 to limit this activity.
Where did you get your information that there was a delay?
There were false rumors of a September release. Starting a rumor that are not true does not mean a delay.
Jive Epic actually said November, I have not seen anything changing that.
Sony Music Mexico said be patient, they will share when information is confirmed.
All official information has it on schedule.
Please confirm your delay statement.
Along with your stated delay you mentioned what "probably" caused it.

There was "talk" about a single release in Sept. and album release in November. We just don't know at this point.
There are so many things behind the scenes to consider that we aren't privy to. For example, timing the release so it won't fall on the same date as another big release.
We have no way of knowing if there have been any unexpected delays or that they are simply following their original plans.
We just have to be patient.

My delay comment was in reference to delays in releasing any CD. Try to imagine the pandemonium the last few weeks before the release - making sure all the distribution channels are ready, etc. (I should run this through a spell checkor).

So for the readers....there is no delay at this point in time with Alizée's new upcoming CD release and no comment to that point was intended.
wt's was only remarking on the difficulties that can occur in releasing "any" CD.
