What next Alizée
I guess we look for the official notice or the insiders leak or for someone to just stumble across it first...the place to pre order....
The consensus on Twitter is that the pre order allows a way to track interest. Can not argue with that.
But did you notice the other consensus...no one believes it till they see it anymore...
I guess it's time to visit Jive Epic again? Remember when they were the source?
What next?

Tattoo's...
Of course this subject had to come up with all the new pics coming out...
Now as tattoo's go...I really do not have an emotional response as some do. I am not a tattoo hater but I do have a curious side...so let's take a peek...
Old news...lizard leg................................................and tinkerbelle
Now the one on the right arm...daughter tattoo, catch a heart on the left wrist
a look at the left wrist...
Now for a little chat...
Kabbalah tattoos most often take the form of Hebrew lettering. Madonna wore a temporary Kabbalah tattoo on her right shoulder in the video for “Die Another Day.”
Madonna, Britney and Victoria Beckham
It kind of looks like this..... Happiness – Vav Hei Vav . Now I am not saying it is that, it just looks similar and could be something along those lines...it's a good thing.

Alizée News
I have to say I really did not expect new during Les Enfoires, but that is what makes Alizée so delightful, always doing the unexpected.
Todays news comes from PopHeart you can also follow @Popismyheart on Twitter
Google translator:
This is an album of French the most anticipated of 2010, "A Child of the Century" of Alizee - produced by the tip of the French electro scene - is about to be unveiled to the public.
It will indeed be available for pre-order from Monday, including the official website of the artist as a collector box limited edition.
For this new album, Alizée has surrounded Institubes label producers: Chateau Marmont, Rob, Tahiti Boy, David Rubato, Jerome Echenoz ... (We know them all but ... What is this class!)
An album that should surprise many of the trendy magazine Technikart who himself participated in the promotion of this new disc with its cover and some pages of interview with Alizée.
So...available for pre order on MONDAY
Perhaps the album cover will make an appearance on the Institube's website too. Will it coincide with a website update? Will it be noted on MySpace? Gosh I am a curious person....and who's calling in sick on Monday to check this all out?

Mythbusters...
PJ alert...this just in...from AlizeeSouthAfrica
oh no...what have I started...a business post turns into PJ postings...
Alizée, I would like to apologize in advance of anymore PJ postings....(sheepish look)
Hey wait a second...didn't I read somewhere (since not experiencing this myself of course) that French woman sleep in lingerie. (eww wee this is gonna be a slippery slope) That is French women in general (whew)(devilish look)
Now I warn you, traveling down this path could subject you to warnings (read the following with heavy echo and reverb) 'this is blasphemy' (end heavy echo and reverb) from the self appointed guardians.
Or you could just simply have a sense of humor and continue...
What we need are some of our very own mythbusters...the crew at Institubes would be great. A simple confirm or deny tweet would be hilarious but...well...it was fun to think about. Ninja J would be interesting, but I don't think I could handle what he would tell us....
If a certain someone tweets "flannel", I'm pre buying the Les Enfoires and posting the reciept....NO not you 'Alizee South Africa'. And that goes for the rest of you too!!!

"How do they stay public and sane?"(1)
I go on the premise that I have 5 seconds to get your attention and lucky if I have 30 more seconds to get my point across...that is if I ever have a point (according to some). ***pause*** OK, for the 5% of you remaining (↓ 95%) occasionally we throw something in the mix that goes beyond the "OMG factor". You like that? One of my many made up words or descriptions, ya know...omg omg did you see that dress...no fear...I will follow up this post with some pretty pictures and all will be good.
A little while back there was the post 1000 True Fans which was merely an observation on the music industry about what it takes to make money and touching on social networking.
That was followed up with a post by Alizee South Africa
Oh no...dueling blogs...hehehe maybe some of us are right out of the movie Deliverance (dueling banjos)....Now this is part where Ruroshen steps in and claims "then I am soooooo calling 'not the guy that has to squeal like a pig'..." (i.e. Ruroshens comments for the post Alizée le spectacle avant le spectacle) (squeal like a pig comment ↑ 5%)
Taking this a bit further there is a very interesting article, Celebrity blogs: more trouble than they’re worth?. It is a bit long and is published by Business World Weekender. (OH NO, long article and business ↓ 9%)
It talks about...
"Some celebrities minimize or abstain entirely from the social interactions on the Internet"
"Other celebrities play it safe -- Britney Spears, for example, hires a team of social experts to twitter for her"
"The ability of Web sites to spread information at warp speed"
(1)"How do they stay public and sane?" a great line from the article...
It addresses getting too personal...
"There is the odd fanatic, who feels closer to his celebrity idol if he sleeps in the same brand of PJs"
omg omg Alizée's brand of PJ's (↑↑↑ 90%)
...and on that I'm ending on a high note

Hook, line and sinker...
I do like to take into account any new fans that may have just discovered Les Enfoires...I was going to do just a brief description but...it's already done.
Alizée and Les Enfoires showing up in a Hip Hop blog! DJ Wise Presents…
He included pics and vids...too cool...would love to hear the feed back to that
"Les Enfoires, a concert that brings together various artists & celebrities of many backgrounds together to raise money for Les Restos du Cœur (Restaurants of the Heart), an organization with the focus of distributing food packages & hot meals to the needy."
So DJ Wise put it out there and he's all in...does the phrase 'hook, line and sinker' mean anything to you...

We are the world
AlizeeNews: Alizée will interpret "We are the world" of Michael Jackson, with Amel Bent in Les Enfoires 2010
Sometimes...I look for an angle or just more information before I post...and yet other times I do just turn into an RSS feed too...
During Les Enfoires I thought I would not go into OMG mode and look for stories...But...friends of the blog are having none of it, giving me a friendly nudge...
Thanks @Dhallannz

Les Enfoires 2010 - Alizée...
So here I am this morning, doing a little catch up on the latest news and such. Reading about the new Apple Tablet which looks just amazing. Pdiddy giving his 16 year old son a $350,000 car...whatever...I really do not get caught up with other peoples money, it's relative and their business. Steven Tyler singing on the Home Depot loud speaker system... Twitter working on a local trending system...that could be interesting....I see le nid alizee is getting back into the swing of things...
I would kind of like to see what is going on with Les Enfoires 2010...I think it might be fun to use "Twitter Search" to do that. I use it for many other things so lets see what is being said about Les Enfoires...
Are you seeing what I am seeing! Straight away 5 of the first 6 are Alizée related. No way was I even looking for that, I just wanted to see what the Twitter world was saying about Les Enfoires. Holy Twitter Search Batman.
There are a LOT of performers there and for Alizée to be able to have some or any kind of impact on bringing Les Enfoires to the attention of anyone is a great thing. By the way, those 5 posts represent 5 different countries.
I hate to use a 90's saying but..."you go girl!"

Alizée - she's got the look
So what are we looking at...
Fringe hairstyle...I love it
Distressed jeans
Is that Marc Jacobs?
Shirt, could that be the spring 2010 nautical look that Fashionista was talking about?
Black Leather Jacket
Scarf, large print leopard? hmmm à la Fred Flintstone
Oh please...I am just kidding, having a little fun. Come on! Alizée you giggled! I heard you.
Why do we do this...pictures and appearances are so few we tend to over examine...

Fleur De Lis...continued
I no sooner posted the previous "Is that...a Fleur De Lis" post and saw some activity...I wondered what was going on. What I found is that Fleur De Lis was going "volcanic" on Google Trends.
(click on it to enlarge)
and there we are listed! Crazy...Fleur De Lis going volcanic.
So if you ended up here looking for the story behind the Fleur De Lis on the New Orleans Saints helmet...well take a look around. You may end up wanting Alizee on your Itunes!!!!!!! Seriously!!!!

Is that...a Fleur De Lis?
Why yes it is!
In the United States the final two teams have been determined to compete in the American Football championship known as the Superbowl. The final two teams are the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints. It is a huge event.
New Orleans is well known for its French Quarter, hence the Fleur De Lis on the helmet. So in two weeks, the Superbowl will be played. It is the most popular sporting event in America and 50% of the American fans will be rooting for a team with a Fleur De Lis on the helmet! Who would have imagined that!
Special Note: Last year Jo Jacotey did a Superbowl post...I wonder if the Fleur De Lis helmet will inspire him this year? Yes, that was before he went femme fetale on us...oh I'm not complaining...just saying...

Is that...French pop music?
Charts In France has the results for the NRJ Music Awards 2010. This is what we would call main stream.
But now the rest of this I get to write from the stand point as the dumbest person in the room but then don't I always...so where do we start? Alizee has mentioned her desire to stay mainstream...the need to state that I suppose is due to her association with Institubes...and the guys.
The guys...Chateau Marmont, Rob, Para One...you know...Institubes. I find it difficult to define the music coming out of Institubes..is it electronic, dj, trance, dance? Amazon tends to use all of those descriptions. I think the artist themselves do not care to be labeled, they themselves have used underground at times and lately new house sound for some of it.
On the last album Alizee crossed over with some hip hop or rap, that's a fair label for Decollage. Now we can look forward to a few songs with this "_____" sound. I then noticed what I thought was a lack of females in this sound or was it just my ignorance...also was there a lack of voice altogether...so I decided to look and listen.
First I started with Chateau Marmont, why not, they seem to have a large influence or contribution to Une En Enfant Du Siecle. I will use Beagle first.
I like it but what have they done with a female...well here is remix of La Roux
You can here La Roux currently being played on top 40 mainstream with Bulletproof.
That works but what of this lack of females...a search of female electronica came up with this from last.fm...so they do exist.
you can even find female dj's.
The blog dorkmuffin made this compilation of female electronica
On the list is Bjork, Alizee has mentioned her in the past. In the did you know category...did you know Bjork wrote the lyrics for Bedtime Story for Madonna.
So what does female electronica sound like...here is the last song on that list
Emilie Simon - Fleur de Saison
In the comment section on YouTube someone asks "is this the pop french music" and someone responds "yes".
What? After all this... One persons Female Electronica is someones else's French Pop.
So much for labels...

Les Enfoires....
From Pure People
a little google translater...
"The Enfoirés just lifted the veil on the cover of their album live, hysterics, whose capture will be 30 and January 31 at the Palais Nakai. A DVD of the show will, like every year, also available. Profits will be donated entirely to Restos du Coeur working daily to help the poor. Indeed, each CD or DVD can be purchased to provide 18 meals for the needy."
"The first single from the album is a cover of the rock band Kiss, I Was Made For Loving You, released in 1979. Between waiting for the release of Enfoirés, which should be unveiled later this week, watch the original: it is our pipe from the attic! "

Coachella lineup
The Coachella lineup has been announced!
Here is the full lineup by day by alphabetical order as it stands...today. Now what is so cool about the lineup is that you can click on each name and you can see a pic and a video of that person/artist/band to see who they are. That is very nice.
The headliners for each day are listed as Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz. Jay-Z is a bit different for this crowd but they say he does not dissapoint, Muse will be a hit and Gorillaz...to close out...wow...they need to put on a show...should be fun.
What else off the top of my head...Phoenix is there, same day as Gorillaz..cool. Sly and the Family Stone...ha major flashback...but I am not up on the latest there, just caught my eye.
I could just go on and on....
Tickets $269 USD for a 3 day pass. You can camp in you car if you have a car there. Start selling your plasma...

Coachella news
Officially the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Some times called Coachellafest or just Coachella.
In case you have not noticed I do like it and mention it from time to time.
Well...with that being said...Tuesday January 19th the Coachella line up is going to be announced. As with everything there are a lot of rumors, some fake posters and teasers out there.
There is a teaser from L.A. based radio station KROQ but a side note caught my eye...Phoenix Is This Week’s Most Played On KROQ this week. What...a French band is the most played band on an L.A. based radio station. Yes I know they sing in English, but a French band...I think that is significant. Maybe..."the times they are a-changin"
Anxious to see who headlines...then see if any Institubes or friends of Institubes are going to be there.
If you want to see what Twitter gossip is going on for Coachella just click here
And who knows...maybe some Les Enfoires news...maybe

Alizée - YouTube
What is the current most views on YouTube? Oh wait a minute...I should make this part of the Jeopardy posts...well...maybe later.
Searching YouTube...under 'relevance' the winner is...may I have the envelope..."alizee Francesita SEXY" with 13,387,078 views and counting. The winner does not even list the song in the title...that's crazy.
Well let's change the search and go with "view count"
Here it appears "Alizée" does not have to be in the title, it includes in the description. So, who is the winner in this category? WOW...no I don't mean wow I mean World of Warcraft! with 15,162,105 views and growing.
" World Of Warcraft: Dancing
.) 2: MC Hammer- Cant Touch This 3: Chubby Checker- The Twist 4: Alizee- J'en Ai Marre 5: Napoleon Dynamite (The music used in 'Napoleon ... "
What about uploads in the last week...there can't be that many...can there...check it out, here are some, my screen show 19 videos and the count is at 7 pages worth...some do not relate but most do. Just think what could happen if...
A quick note: Some of the things that have come up over the years just amaze me. Showing on this post is one of them. Coming up 5th in the view count category is Veni Vidi Vici with 6,607,713 views!!! Now I know the picture associated with it may draw in some extra visitors. But, the number of people that stumble on to here searching for he lyrics for Veni Vidi Vici has always amazed me. There is no video, there is no live video of Alizée singing it that I know of, it was never promoted...just another song. Frankly I have no explanation for its popularity. It just keeps coming up. Maybe it's just a "time slot" hit. The World of Warcrafters see that photo on the video 4 spots down and just click on it, then they want to know what is being said and look for the lyrics...good as any theory I guess.

First, Vernissage...also known as a preview, private view or simply opening, is the start of an art exhibition (wikipedia of course)
House of Kids...they do work for artwork and graphic designing for Institubes....(very understated)
Next show "House of Kids"
Should be fun, Alizee Nation could really use a "guest writer" there...anyone...anyone...Alizée??? That would be a real twist.

Alizée numbers and graphs
Sure I know, everyone likes the kitty pictures...but we have to throw in some figures and graphs sometimes...
The "official" site has not been updated in what...2 months...but it still gets its share of daily visitors...those 1000 true fans I guess...
Bottom line represents US visitors, top line is total visitors.
Interesting is breaking it down in percentages from what country for the last 3 months
I was pleasantly surprised that France accounted for a quarter of the total visits. Nice. Mexico is second which is not a surprise. United States is third, now that surprised me, followed by Russian Federation then Germany.
What I would like to see is what Team Alizée thought the numbers would be as to what they actually are...are they surprised by any of the numbers? Now that would be an interesting discussion, well...at least for me.
