Trickle of information from Alizée

The trickle of information has slowed down...ALL information has been released under strict control...and then came the Miami story...did that story upset the release of information?

Do you think uneenfantdusiecle.com was to be discovered when it was discovered??? What if it was not, would there have been a "release" of information for fans to find it??? Hmmm.

Those are the two questions on information release to date. Things that happened outside the actual release of information from Alizée or was it meant to be that way?

So, this week...will there be more information released? The website(s) updated. I would like to say "I think so" but....

It appears that Jive Epic will not be releasing information...at least to date the information has come via Alizée websites and twitter...so I expect Jive Epic to just point to that information when it is released. I think that makes sense.

One thing I have noticed is how fast fans digest the information these days...it does not have a long shelf life. Likely due to the fact that fans just want Alizée and her new music. Even the story of "Miami", did not last that long...it was a wow, really, no way.....whatever... and back to the real story of where's Alizée. I remember when stories lasted, the Tinkerbell tattoo, it took forever for that to pass. Fans have developed the eye of the tiger...all eyes on Alizée and the new album.

Magibon is talking my ear off trying to get back on with updates....

I've wondered if we were supposed to find uneenfantdusiècle. It may have been a programmer's comment in the source code to remind them to create a link when the time was right. Once discovered by the public, they may have just decided to make the best of it and play along as if it was intended to be an Easter Egg. Either that, or it was intended to be found. I guess we'll never know for sure, but I lean towards it being intended. Regardless, is was quite fun for the fans.

As far as the Miami story goes, I think Ben is probably right that is was a mix up. I am careful to not take too strong a position on rumors. I remember when we thought that the rumor of a song called Lilly Town was just crazy.:)

You two aren't the only ones wondering about the URL. I was a little worried that I might've spoiled the surprise for Lili before it was time, but I guess things seem okay.

Of course, everyone is now watching that URL like a hawk; on Twitter, it took a few hours from the time of discovery of the second trilogy of videos to Lili finally saying something about it. The message may have been delayed by whatever robot was supposed to post it or she wasn't aware that those three had already been found and talked about, but there you go.

And I'll admit to adding /x.swf (7.swf right now) to said URL in the hopes that it won't return a 404, too.

In short: We really do have the eye of the tiger. The best Lili and her team can do is drop another message stating "new videos in one hour" or something to get the jump on us.

It makes a lot of sense that Alizee would choose institubes. I mean considering the duration and popularity of Edie Sedgwick was during the late 60s early 70s. I think she is appropiately trying to reflect not only the story but the style and mood of the music at that time.

As for the life time of rumors or news, yes, I think maybe everyone is in more of a hurry now-a-days than they used to be, but also, there just isn't that much to say about what we've seen here. The Miami thing was pretty much debunked by Ben and the fact that it seemed rather unlikely. Also, Alizée's Tinkerbell tattoo, and her newest one were something to talk about until we saw it. Once we've seen the proof and then argued about it, what more is there to say. The Tinkerbell was a lot bigger of a deal in a sense - it was the first major tattoo, Alizée was more famous then, and it was more of a surprise.
